Once again the OOF will take place during National Organic Week in Canada; highlighting local organic farmers and organic food production.Think Before You Eat - Think Canada Organic!
Every year we produce the most comprehensive, approachable and enjoyable green living exposition in the Okanagan Valley. With a NEW location as accessible as the Rotary Centre for the Arts we are able to share vital information in an empowering way with the Kelowna community. On festival day attendees can sample & shop for organic food and beverages in the Certified Organic Farmer’s Market and Green Living Marketplace, enjoy live local music, children’s entertainment and be inspired with Activist Alley too.
9th Annual Organic Okanagan Festival Entertainment Schedule!
11:00 AM – RCA Atrium Stage - Honourable Norm Letnick, B.C. Minister of Agriculture and Kelowna-Lake Country MLA. Hon. Norm Letnick will officially open the 9th Annual Organic Okanagan Festival.
ALL DAY - RCA Atrium Stage - COTA minutes! Listen to current organic industry updates from Stephanie Wells of the Canadian Organic Trade Association.
1:00 PM - HARMONY HONDA STUDIO - Nature’s Path Organic Soil Workshop Hands on learning about organic soil ecology and leave with your own organic seeds planted and ready to sprout! First to come, first to plant!
2:00 PM - RCA ATRIUM STAGE - Raging Grannies Raging Grannies are caring older women who use song to protest and raise awareness of the issues of Peace, the environment and social justice. Satirical and serious, they are politically conscious but non-partisan.
2:45 PM - RCA ATRIUM STAGE - Niki Martinus Niki is a Kelowna based singer/songwriter; she looks forward to bringing her acoustic originals and covers to this year's festival.
3:30 PM - RCA ATRIUM STAGE - Ginger & Rose Comprised of singer songwriters Jayme Mc Killop and Lowell Friesen, Ginger & Rose contrast and complement each other like any great pairing, bringing their diverse styles into the musical kitchen and cooking up a unique and soulful musical banquet.

Green your mind, spirit and palate!
The OOF is always Bullfrog powered, feeding green power into the Kelowna grid and from 2010 to 2013, with the help of Green Step and numerous volunteers, we achieved 91% - 97% of our zero waste goal. To date we have collected almost $11,000 in food and funds for the Kelowna Community Food Bank and we host between 500 and 1000 happy guests annually.

Refine exhibitor participation at 30 businesses - highlighting local certified organic food production; including Okanagan restaurants & chefs at Organic Okanagan Food Court.
Promote deeper certified organic understanding and awareness through Think Organic campaign with The Canadian Organic Trade Association.
