On Sunday September 25, 2016 we will celebrate the 11th Annual Organic Okanagan Festival at Summerhill Pyramid Organic Winery - let's Transition to an Organic Future!

Once again the OOF will highlight National Organic Week in Canada; showcasing  local organic farmers and certified organic food production. Think Before You Eat - Think Canada Organic! 

Did you know - Choices Markets in Kelowna has been supporting the OOF every year since 2010!

Together we all produce the most comprehensive, approachable and enjoyable green living exposition in the Okanagan Valley. On festival day attendees can sample & shop for organic food and wine at Summerhill Pyramid Winery, in the Certified Organic Farmer’s Market and Green Living Marketplace, enjoy live local music, children’s entertainment and be inspired with Activist Alley too. Enjoy Summerhill's entire property and mission with organic wine tasting & tours, dining in the organic bistro, bio dynamic garden tours, drumming in the Makwala Kekuli and more!

General admission is $7 at the door.

Students & seniors $5 at the door. Cyclists & pedestrians $5 at the door.

Children under 12, FREE admission.

Please bring a food donation for the Kelowna Community Food Bank.

With general admission OOF attendees can Enjoy, Sample, Shop and Learn with Activist Alley, our Certified Organic Farmer's Market, the Green Living Marketplace, delectable Summerhill Pyramid Winery Certified Organic Food Court, Live Music and much more!

11:00 AM  -  LAWN TENT - SPEAKER    Festival opening - Organic Okanagan Declaration with Stephen Cipes

11:15 AM  -  LAWN TENT - MUSIC     "Jayme McKillop - Raised in the Okanagan in all its abundance has shaped Jayme McKillop to be a singer with a big mouth whose own songs of human connection and social critique make for a soulful and emotive experience. With far too many influences to count, seeing music made in her hometown community is what really sparks Jayme’s passion and keeps her on the magical, musical mystery tour of life.

11:30 AM - The Honourable Norm Letnick - Organic Industry updates by Kelowna Lake Country MLA and BC’s Minister of Agriculture

12:00 PM  -  LAWN TENT - MUSIC     Lowell Friesen - folk-roots Americana with a Canadian twist, foot-stompin banjo tunes and heart-felt understated acoustic riffs, songs sung with a tongue in cheek sense of humor and an introspective lyrical flair

1:00 PM   - Lower Patio Deck  - COABC - Transition to an Organic Future - panel discussion.Featuring: Moderator - Bob McCoubrey Panellists:  Robert Dixon - Organic Okanagan Services, Dr. Tirso Gonzales and John Wells.

1:00 PM - CircusYoga Family Fun with Anita McFarlane

2:00 PM  - PYRAMID or  LAWN TENT - MUSIC   - Acoustic Music Presentations with Shri Ananda & Adam Meachem and more!

2:30 PM  -  LAWN TENT - MUSIC     "Rainbow Rhythms - is a colorful world fusion music 8 piece band from Kelowna, who consider themselves the ‘Happiest Band of the Okanagan!’ because they have so much fun playing together and love to make people feel good playing music for all ages! Their diverse backgrounds got them together to play uplifting songs from around the world, as well as danceable oldies and roots. Their main objective is to keep it happy and uplifting, and to spread light through music and colors.

3:30 PM  -  LAWN TENT - MUSIC     Leila Neverland - Leila Neverland performs original percussive piano and vocal music solo, and sometimes with a band. Her newfound experiments include a vocal looping machine and a ukelele. Every show is a little different, always funny, and mostly radical. She will have albums on hand.
